“Koukos” as a location is really hard to beat. It rests inside a hairpin of the road that connects Chora and Kapsali offering a grandiose view of the Castle and the Myrtoon Sea. Even at the hottest summer nights this spot keeps its cool, something I suppose we should attribute to the surrounding lush vegetation and the breeze blowing through the valley that leads to Sparaggario beach.  I like this place so much I actually decided to rent and re-open the semi abandoned gazebo standing there as an open-air bar in 2009. After two great summer seasons I must say that it was a damn good decision! There will be a few improvements and changes but for the summer of 2011 I will once again insist on all things that made this little bar such a big success: Friendly “no-frills” ambience and service, a vast and affordable  selection of drinks and -of course! - interesting and vibrant music. With selections ranging from Jerry Lee Lewis to Radiohead, Syd Barret to Mogwai, Cramps to Cranberries, Ramones to Archive, The Banshees to The National, our dj aims to provide an “electric” soundtrack to a peaceful environment.
